Module Overview

“According to the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network, 1 in 25 Americans report that they have a food allergy.”

In this module, employees will learn the basics of food allergens and their impact on your business and your customers. In addition to specific information about the nine foods that account for 90% off all allergic reactions, the module also covers how to respond if a customer experiences an allergic reaction and provides a guideline for employees on how to prepare food for customers with allergies. Employees will understand their responsibility in providing accurate and honest information to customers and the importance of honoring special food requests.
