All employees are entitled to a comfortable and hostile-free work environment. California law requires that all businesses with five or more employees provide training on a variety of topics including how to prevent sexual harassment and how to handle it if it does occur. Mandatory training is already in effect for current employees and supervisors.

New employees must be trained within 6 months of their hire date or promotion to a supervisory position. All employees must be re-trained every two years. This California Sexual Harassment Prevention training course meets and exceeds the minimum training standards as mandated by the California Fair Housing and Employment Act (FEHA), Senate Bill 1343, and related legislation.

This interactive training course for supervisors covers all the information required by California law, including the definition of harassment, examples of harassment, strategies to prevent harassment, and resources available to victims of harassment. Supervisors also learn their role in the prevention and correction of sexual harassment, as well as best practices for harassment investigations. In addition, this module addresses and defines other forms of harassment that can occur in the workplace. The supervisor course exceeds the 2-hour training time requirement.
