Assign Pinned Reports & Schedule FTP Export

The latest update to trainingGrid provides you with additional functionality for My Report Grid as well as allowing you to create and schedule reports for FTP Export. To learn more about these features, continue reading below.

Assign Pinned Reports
This update is an enhancement to the pinned reports section on My Report Grid, which allows the user to pin shortcuts to prebuilt reports.
Training Administrators can now go into a report and “Pin As” another user, following these steps:
- Go into the Report Library and find the report you wish to Pin.
- The meatball menu to the left of the report name will now have an “Assign Pin” option.
- In the next screen, you will select who you are Pinning the report for. You may select to Pin the report by Role or click the “Other Recipients” tab to Pin by individual user.
- If you are the owner of the report, the final screen will provide a summary of the details of the report.
Pinned reports that are assigned will show up in the My Pinned Reports section with a red highlight. (Reports pinned by the user themself are blue, unless they are Universal reports, which will be green.) The assigned pinned report will not count towards the overall maximum pinned reports. Users cannot unpin reports that have been pinned for them.
Schedule FTP Export
This enhancement to reporting allows you to build and schedule recurring reports that can export data to a designated FTP server, which can then be imported into another third party platform.
